How to Buy with the Buyee Cart

What is Buyee?

Buyee is a proxy purchasing service for customers who want to buy items from Japan. When you access CHIIIT ARCHIVE from outside Japan, the Buyee Cart appears on the site for eligible vintage items.

The Buyee Cart is intended for visitors outside Japan and is not displayed for access from within Japan. Photography prints can be ordered directly from their artwork pages in eligible countries and regions.

How to Purchase

1. Step 1

   From outside Japan, open the vintage item page you would like to purchase. A Buyee information pop-up appears on your first visit.

2. Step 2

   Open the Buyee Cart (international purchase button) displayed on the page. Follow the on-screen instructions and, if prompted, add the item to the CHIIIT ARCHIVE cart first.

3. Step 3

   Use “Add to Cart” in the Buyee Cart, continue to Buyee, then sign in or register and pay the item price and applicable purchase charges.

4. Step 4

   After the item reaches Buyee’s warehouse in Japan, choose an international shipping method and pay the shipping and related charges for delivery to your address.

Shipping & Fees

The listed Vintage price includes standard delivery to Buyee’s warehouse in Japan. CHIIIT ARCHIVE does not add a separate per-item shipping charge at checkout when multiple items are purchased together.

For onward delivery from Buyee’s warehouse, international shipping methods, fees, service charges, and delivery times are handled according to Buyee’s own guidance.

Customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees may apply. These costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Returns and Refund Contact

For orders placed via Buyee, Buyee is the contact point for purchasing, payment, and international delivery. If you need help with a return or refund, begin from your Buyee order page or Buyee's guidance page. CHIIIT ARCHIVE cannot issue a direct Stripe refund to the overseas end customer.

All CHIIIT ARCHIVE items are one-of-a-kind. An item may sell out while your Buyee purchase request is being processed.
